Milk Substitute
(for milk, dairy, lactose sensitive people)

Commercial companies make the following substitutes:
Rice "milk"
Almond "milk"
Soy "milk"
Or here is a recipe to make your own nut "milk"
1 Cup Nuts (raw cashews, raw blanched almonds, hulled sesame seeds)
1 Quart water
1 Tbs. oil
2 Tbs. honey, maple syrup or agave
1/8 tsp. salt
 
Blend well - about 3 minutes in a blender, until very smooth and creamy.
